Principles

All candidates for public office cliam to have principles
but
Few are willing or able to declare them in writing
and
Fewer still will commit to keep all policies consistent with them.*

*Note: Having principles isn't enough, because not all principles are good ones. [more]

TAPP's pledge:

  • Adult and Honest Reasoning to a Truth: Not Childish and Dishonest Rationalization of Beliefs. [more]

  • Principles that are declared in writing.

  • Policies that are consistent with declared principles.

  • The expulsion of any member, candidate or public office holder whose actions conflict with the principles declared by TAPP.

TAPP's Principles:

  • TAPP holds these principles to be "self-evident truths".

    • All individuals are created equal.

    • Each individual is endowed by her or his Creator with unalienable Rights, and that among those rights are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

    • Soverignty is endowed in the individual, and to secure their individual rights, indiviudals combine their soverignty to create governments that derive their just powers from the consent of the governed.  [more]

  • The legitimate roles of a government are limited to:

    • Protecting the lives and property of its citizens from external aggression. (Military)

    • Protecting the lives and property of its citizens from internal aggression. (Criminal Law, Police and Fire)

    • Providing a just system of resolving non-criminal conflicts. (Civil Law)

    • Overseeing the private development and use of natural resources and man-made infrastructure that are not capable of private ownership.

  • A woman or man with a rifle is a citizen: A person without one, is a subject.

There is also a corollary that is specific to women: A woman with a club or sword is not the equal of a man with club or sword: A woman with a gun is.

It is surprising how few women realize the second place status of women in most of human history was inevitable, because all of society's laws, customs and rules evloved before guns were invented. Had guns existed, I am certain things would have evolved differently, and more fairly for women who then would not have had to choose between becomming one man's property or the property and the property of all men bigger and stronger than the woman.

  • Government imposed segregation of Americans, like that imposed through Social Security Census, and other forms requiring self-segregation by government sanctioned euphimisims for bloodline (race, heritage, culture, etc.) is evil.

The solution is to honor the right Americans have earned to claim American as their nationality, culture and heritage, and every other citizen as their peer, by requiring any such form to offer American [X] as a legal choice -- that unlike all current choices is equally avaialable to all Americans and denied to none.

  • There can be no peace within a nation that extends greater rights to groups based on bloodline, history or geography than are extended to all citizens equally

  • Only three or more parties can prevent the polarization that is the predictable result of two monopoly parties.

  • Every person has a right to her or his opinions.  No one has a right to be wrong in her or his facts.
