  • TAPP is a project too large for a single person to complete.  To accomplish anything worthwhile will require participation by several people with the intellectual honesty and skills needed to forge a set of core principles and from them develop a set of policies that are consistent with such principles.

  • The skills TAPP most needs are people who are well educated in history, American & English grammar (For as any Englishman will tell you, American's do not speak English), the rules of formal logic and debate, and who believe in the concept of a Principle Good on which the study of Ethics rests in the philosophies underlying Western Civilization.

Enterprise level programming skills are also needed.

  • The number of people needed to accomplish anything worthwhile is more than one such person, but as the signers of America's Declaration of Independence proved, it need not be more than they were (56) to accomplish magnificent results.

If a comparable core of creators can be assembled, then a first goal is to develop a mechanism by which additions, modification and extensions of the TAPP blueprint can be jointly undertaken.  The ability to assemble in a single place as the founders may not likely be an immediate option, so until it is, the vehicle will have to be increasing the sophistication of this web site to accommodate jointly undertaken drafting in real time -- which is easily, but not inexpensively accomplished.

  • Money is also needed.  In that regard, TAPP is an intellectual exercise that exists only in Cyber Space. Therefore it is not, and will not become, entangled in the John McCain, et. al. incumbent protection laws.  Money may be offered as a gift only:

    1. Gifts are not tax deductible by the person making the gift.

    2. Gifts are not includable as income by the recipient.

    3. To qualify as a gift, the maker must surrender all rights to direct or influence the use of the gift once made.

    4. To qualify as a gift, the recipient may not offer a guarantee, or lead the person making it to assume a guarantee, that the gift will be used way pre-specified by the person making the gift.

    5. The amount of gifts made by any legal person (individual, partnership, corporation, etc.) is not subject to any limits.

    6. However, gifts by a single person that exceed $11,000 per year may obligate the person making the gift to a gift tax.

  • Notification of spelling, typos and grammer erros are always most welcome. So too is the identification of any logical inconsistencies. There are few indicators of intellectual dishonesty that are more reliable than inconsistency.

  • Note: Poorly educated (or well educated but dishonest) people often say "consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds." That is, however, a false quote. The correct one is "foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds."

A useful corollary is that a sign of high intelligence is the ability to see fine distinctions among similar things. That is why to the ignorant bigot "they all look alike."

An example is that a child who sees a "truck" will likely test below a child who see's "a bright yellow fire truck racing to save a family’s house" on any standard IQ test.

So too, a person to whom the distinction between "foolish consistency" and all "consistency" is apparent will score hiher than one to whom that is not apparent. (Except in the case where the confusion was dishonestly intentional.)

  • Please help. Here are ten 2-letter words that do a wonderful job of explaining why:

If it is to be. It is up to me.
